He portrayed the Doctor as a troubled but implacable man, doing what he had no choice but to do, but still able to listen to and understand other points of view. The Day of The Doctor has got to be one of the best episodes ever made of Doctor Who and I loved John Hurt in the role of the War Doctor. |
