Batmans trusty sidekick Robin,  first appeared in the comics a year after Batman, but was there from the very beginning in the TV series.  He is a teenager who had seen his parents killed and was taken in by Bruce Wayne. He does need training and calming down a little by Batman as he can be over exuberant at times. Holy Broken Bones Batman!
