Jawas are the little guys living on Tattoine who survive by scavenging and selling mechanoids and scrap.  I hadn't made a Jawa, but I decided I would after a little Jawa came up to our stand at a convention, looked at all our stuff, then pointed to himself and pointed back at the stall. He then spread his hands and cooed at me.  I got the drift!  I created my Jawa the very next day!
