Jon Pertwee was MY Doctor. He was the action man with his knowledge of Venusian Akido, but he was also dapper and of immaculate appearance.  He was exiled to earth for most of his time as the Doctor and Bessie became almost as well known as he was! He was our Doctor from January 1970 to June 1974 appearing in 128 episodes.
